We are delighted to invite you to contribute to our upcoming special issue on "Artificial Intelligence and Bioinformatics: Applications in Biomedicine" in BioImpacts. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and bioinformatics has revolutionized the field of biomedicine, offering novel solutions and insights across various domains, from systems biology, and biomarker discovery to drug development, vaccine design, genomic medicine, computer-aided diagnosis systems, and much more. This special issue aims to showcase the latest advancements in AI and bioinformatics applications that are shaping the future of biomedical research and healthcare.

Research areas/sections may include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Integrating machine learning, deep learning and Bioinformatics approaches for biomarker discovery
• Machine learning applications in genomic medicine
• AI-enhanced Bioinformatics in drug discovery and development
