Highly porous scaffolds consisting of poly (lactide-co-glycolide) containing TiO2 nanoparticles were fabricated via air-liquid foaming technique, which is a novel method and has more advantages by using no additives for nucleation compared to former ways.

Our in-vitro findings demonstrated that the 75Ti, 50Ti, and 25Ti composites havehigh potential to be used as load-bearing orthopedic materials.
