MiR-1290 through suppression of THBS1 and DKK3 could activate PI3K/AKT pathway. Moreover, DKK3 and SCAI inhibition might induce wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. Hence, regulatory interplay between miR-1290 and its targets may promote oncogenesis and angiogenesis in CRC through PI3K/AKT and Wnt/ β-catenin signaling pathways activation.
