Carboxymethylcellulose/MOF-5/Graphene oxide bio-nanocomposite was synthesized through a solvothermal technique, which it could encapsulate tetracycline. The drug release tests showed the stability of drug dosing in the gastrointestinal tract conditions. Antibacterial tests exhibited suitable activity to negatively charge E. coli bacteria.

Based on in vitro and in silico findings, MC is suggested as an important ECMmimicking entity that can support the semi-solid medium and promote the formation of the uniform spheroid in the 3D culture.
