Renal functional and structural disturbance induced by renal bilateral ischemia/reperfusion. However, administration of bone marrow stem cell (1.5×106 cells, i.p., per rat) improved renal function and appearance. Protective effect of BMSCs related to modulation of mRNA expression of TLR2 and TLR4.

After extraction and culture, human endometrial stromal / stem cells (hEnSCs) were injected into the caudal vein of male Wistar rats with cisplatin-induced acute renal injury (AKI). Cell injection reduced inflammation and pathological damage and increased kidney cell proliferation.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of type 2 diabetic condition on autophagy status in lung tissue of male rats. The possible relationship between autophagy and inflammation was also monitored.
