Carboxymethylcellulose/MOF-5/Graphene oxide bio-nanocomposite was synthesized through a solvothermal technique, which it could encapsulate tetracycline. The drug release tests showed the stability of drug dosing in the gastrointestinal tract conditions. Antibacterial tests exhibited suitable activity to negatively charge E. coli bacteria.

In vivo studies indicated that the induction of systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the optimized formulation (NC1) was significantly decreased in comparison to the disease control group at all time intervals along with pure drug .
