These results suggest that our PTX-PLGA NPs could be a suitable strategy for breast cancer therapy, improving antitumor drug efficiency and reducing systemic toxicity without altering its mechanism of action.
Schematic of the microfluidic device, top view and cross section of the middle part of the microfluidic device, tumor cell labeled with the functionalized antibodies with the Fe3O4 PMNPs, surface functionalization of the Si nanowires, SEM images of the middle part of the Si substrate with well-aligned SiNWs, SEM images of the tilted view of cancer cells trapped on the nanowires substrate microfluidic channel.

Treatment of MCF-10a, MCF-7, and MDA-MD-231 cells with Gallic acid resulted in inhibition in the activity of the exosomal secretory pathway. Gallic acid can decrease the expression of genes involved in exosomes biogenesis (Alix and CD63) and secretion (Rab proteins). In addition, Gallic acid can change the expression of autophagy markers (LC3 and P62) in these cells. MVB: multivesicular body.
