Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells were incubated with osteogenic differentiation medium. RNA and DNA were extracted on days 0, 7, 14 and 21 days of differentiation period. Renal functional and structural disturbance induced by renal bilateral ischemia/reperfusion. However, administration of bone marrow stem cell (1.5×106 cells, i.p., per rat) improved renal function and appearance. Protective effect of BMSCs related to modulation of mRNA expression of TLR2 and TLR4.

Three-year follow-up of patients, treated for diabetic foot ulcers with mesenchymal stromal cells that revealed absence of ulcer recurrence, neoplasms, and scar contracture. Collagen ultrasound density decreased by 57% and the epidermal thickness increased by 72% in the area of healed ulcers.

The pollen grain of Pistacia vera L. is proposed as a scaffolding building block with the encapsulation capability of bioactive compounds. A modified simple method was developed to create nonallergic hollow pollen grains (HPGs).

BMMSCs were significantly higher in IV-treated group compared to the IN route. Moreover, the expression of BDNF and GDNF was higher in IN-treated rats compared with IV treated group.
