LPS stimulated the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 by binding toTLR-4. iNOS produced enormous nitric oxide (NO) that stimulated COX-2 activity and prostaglandin E2 which further induced the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines leading to inflammation. ALK-F of A. vasica could attenuate iNOS and COX-2 gene expression reducing NO production.

Immunodominant T-cell epitopes of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein with the highest population coverage were predicted by analyzing peptide binders and consensus rank (CR) score. Multi-method B-cell epitope prediction approach was used to find B-cell immunodominant regions of spike protein. Upon the high immune-potent regions of the antigen(s), self-amplifying mRNA and peptide-based vaccines were designed.

In this work, a graphene oxide-based nanoformulation was designed to deliver a high concentration of doxorubicin to osteosarcoma cancer cells. This nanoformulation showed a better release profile in an acidic condition of tumor site, and higher cytotoxicity and apoptosis rate in comparison to free doxorubicin, which suggests, it is a potential platform for targeted therapy of osteosarcoma.
